The Hospitality Committee for United Nations Delegations

Over 65 years in operation, the Hospitality Committee is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing United Nations delegates and their families with programs, events, classes, and opportunities to build relationships as well as helping them gain a broader insight into our country and their host city of New York.

We are back to running in-person programs and our office is open Monday-Thursday 10am-5pm.

English Classes – Fall Semester

  • Speak English at The English Language School, 12 Sep – 21 Dec, Monday & Wednesday.              See poster for more information.

WHAT WE DO

Programs

We offer dozens of monthly activities open to UN delegates and their families, plus two annual Welcome Events for new arrivals.

 

HCUND Clubs

Explore shared interests and develop new friendships through our clubs and parent-child playgroup.

 

 

English Classes

HCUND has provided English language classes for United Nations delegates and their families for more than thirty years. 

Classes offered include Advanced Beginner, Advanced, English Conversation, and Film Discussion.

Special Events

 

From welcome gatherings for newly arrived UN Delegates and their spouse to annual benefit and primary fundraiser events, there are many occasions throughout the year for members to meet up and be part of the HCUND and its diplomatic and business communities in New York.
